Ulricehamn is an old town with a medieval heritage. It is a genuine town centre surrounded by a thriving country district. The textile industry plays an important role in the trading life, where technical development is creating new positive conditions for the trade. Commerce, mechanical engineering and metal industry are important too.

When you visit Ulricehamn for the first time

The town and its surroundings have all things you want for a perfect active holiday; cycling along car-free cycle paths or taking the mountainbike for a ride in the forest trails on Lassalyckan, canoeing on lake Åsunden, walking, playing golf in one our two golf courts, playing tennis, bowling, fishing, skiing on well-prepared slopes and ski-tracks, and excellent shopping. Good accommodation is available to suit everyone as well as pleasant restaurants and cafes.
